Hunza Seed Coporation is an importer of Dutch potatoes and represents Stet Holland potato exclusively in Pakistan for all its approved potato varieties, including fresh, crispy chips and French Fries.

Holland Potato Varieties
Two exotic potatoes varieties, ZINA RED AND MOLANTO has completed its DUS trials by FSC&RD and VCU by research institutes. Authorization from breeders of Stet Holland, has been obtained from there local registration and Seed production. Hope fully Provincial Seed Council Punjab will approve these varieties.
Based on two years adaptability trails under the Seed (Truth-In-labelling) rules. 1991, conducted by the Provincial and National Agricultural Research Institutes, both the potato varieties, Zina Red & Melanto, are being imported from Stet Holand and are being distributed to Potato growers of North Punjab and Pakistan.
High yielding paddy hybrids with local name Hunza 011 & 012 are also being imported and distributed to padyy growers after meeting all codal formalities of National and International regulatory and Phytosanitary measures.
Future Plan
- Production of quality seed potato is Gilgit Baltistan for multiplication of early generation seeds, produced through tissue culture system.
- Joint venture /contract deed with tissue culture labs for production of pre-basic seed potato.
- Production and marketing of vegetable seeds.
- Seed growers net working and their empowerment.
- MOU with Western Agri. Products.(Pvt.) Ltd Islamabad for marketing of seed.
- Variety breeding and strengthening of seed R & D farm.
